Our salary increase survey reported on the forecasted base salary increases in the Czech Republic for the coming year 2020. Data were collected in October 2019 and everyone was curious to see the long awaited salary increases slowdown in 2020.
A total of 163 companies from the Czech market participated in the survey. An industry detail is available as well as information on the prevalent increase methods and increase months. (Survey available only in the Czech language.)
Here are some highlights:
- 55 % of companies planned lower increases for 2020 compared to their 2019 actuals
- 18 % of companies did not plan to slow donwn their increases in 2020
- Service organisations reported a planned increase of 4.0 % (median)
